anyone have bothered by fabrics?

I don't think this belongs in the OCD catergory but does anyone have trouble with sensitivity to fabrics and smells? I am really picky about fabrics. I am easy bothered by fabrics that feel rough or itchy. Maybe fabrics annoy me. Especially socks and shirts that aren't soft enough. Also, I'm sensitive to smells. The slightest bad smell can make me gag. Anyone have this issue?

Seriously clothing is a source of many obsessions. Some people will go must if they see someone with clothes in their mouth. I once knew someone who was so obsessed with shirt tags being up that they would go up to perfect strangers and adjust them. Needless to say we didn't date for long. As to smells making you gag that is very common. The actual process is that your tongue is recoiling from the smell in an attempt to close the air from your nasal passage. It ends up pressing against your uvula and that little device is what initiates your gag reflex.

I don't mind tags on other people but when it comes to tags in my clothes I have to cut them off. I don't like certain fabrics and I HAVE to wear my socks inside out. I think just because I don't like the feeling of the texture on the inside. I guess this is an actual disorder. Has something to do with your sensory processing. I just don't know how to fix it and I'm hoping to find someone with similar issues. and that's interesting about the gagging. I didn't know that
