How do you tell friends/family that you have mental health disorders without cming off as an "attention seeker"? (I'm a teen girl))

Hi! This is simply my opinion, but I don't think they'd think of you as an "attention seeker". Being honest with what you feel gives those around you an insight on what anxiety really is. You shouldn't feel ashamed or afraid to tell anyone. If those people think you're telling them this personal thing for attention then there's something wrong with them. Anyone that genuinely loves and cares for you will embrace you and try to help in any way they can. That's what I have experienced. :)
