How to deal with a breakup? It's all I can think about

Breakups aren't meant to be easy. That's the hard, hard truth. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Did you break up with the other person, or did they break up with you? If you broke up with them....there's a reason that you decided to end your relationship, and it wasn't anything light or unimportant, because you wouldn't have gone to that extreme if it was. The same goes with them. What you want to remember, though, is that it wasn't a happy relationship. Would you rather be unhappy with someone, or have the chance to find someone that you'll be happy with? I miss the companionship that I had with the person I was with, but I don't miss the drama, anxiety, frustration or anger that I had to deal with while we were together. It's nice to be with someone, but it's not worth being miserable just to have someone with you.

How long were you together? That is what weighs heavily the most, the amount of time, the closeness and the why they left.
