Has anyone taken Zoloft?

I am starting on this medication tomorrow. Has anyone got any information on how they have found it? Any side effects? Does it work? Thanks :)

I wish you the best of luck on your journey to find the right medication, it can be so challenging so I'd like to encourage you to stick with it because the right medication regimen has changed my life from completely out of control to manageable. I've been taking Zoloft for over 4 years now. I take 300mg once daily for OCD and general anxiety and it has helped me immensely. It all depends on what you are taking it for and your individual chemistry. The initial side effects can be pretty rough but if you can bear to stick with it they will subside within a couple weeks. Just keep your eyes on the end goal you are seeking. Good luck!

Above said it best. I can tell you I was on Zoloft and it made me cry all day every day and my dr took me off of it. On the other hand both of my kids took it and they didn't appear to have any side affects. I guess it goes to show how everyone of us is different.

I take Zoloft for Panic Disorder and it has been fine. It has really helped me. I started out with only 25mg - I was really scared to take anything - and I am on 75mg now, I have been taking it for the last 4 yrs.

I have taken it in the past, and it was very helpful. Once you get past the side effect stage, you feel pretty good. But for me, my body gets use to meds too easily and it starts to lose its effect. Hope you have success.
