Zoloft around 35mg seems to get me out of the deep end where the sharks are at,

It will vary by individual. Good for one is not always good for another. Then there is the side effects. You must weigh all aspects of the drug together. For me paxil worked great. Zoloft I hear works well.

People sometimes dismiss this because it's not a medication, but chamomile tea (and I add valeriana tea to it) are actual remedies. Chamomile is very popular in Europe but I find Northamericans don't know as much about it. You could drink camomile during the day, it actually tastes good as it is without any helped sugar in it. When you're in a peak of anxiety, try drinking a stronger one with two bags of chamomile tea and if you want can add some valeriana tea to it. These have no side effects. I had a 4-5 hours constant anxiety attack couple of days ago it was 3 at night I could not sleep for the anxiety and the pain I my chest and the belly ache it was giving me. I had a tea with two bags of chamomile, some valeriana and some mint tea and I fell asleep. Try also cutting on coffee or drink it only after meals as coffee has the opposite effect of chamomile which is a soothing and calming tea. Also that night I called a mental health hotline just to talk to someone about how I felt and the reason that had caused me anxiety, talking to someone can help.they told me to distract myself and breath. After that I called my mom and she said have a chamomile tea. So I did and I fell asleep.

I was on clonazepam for about 10 years I recently had to switch doctors because of insurance. After seeing the new doctor for about 6 months she took me off the medicine slowly. She said it was not a long term medicine. Then after about 7 or 8 months being off it my panic attacks started coming back. After several months of this and talking with her she started me on Escitalopram not sure how it is working yet just started. I still don't know why I could not have stayed on the clonazepam it worked good for me all those years.

I think they try all kinds of things on you until they get the right one. I'm on Effexor, Wellbutrin, and klonopin. It's hard since I have bad depression and in the last year have developed awful anxiety to go along with it.
