In my struggles with anxiety and panic attacks... the difference is that the my anxiety is just kinda always there... always an unsettled feeling that I try to avoid acknowledgement of.... thinking of something else to distract myself.... and the panic attack's occur once something triggers me.... could be anything, anytime or anywhere......the symptoms of anxiety attacks that I have are shortness of breath, tight chest, a sudden, strong unsettled/nervous feeling... pacing, crying, hyperventilating... feeling like the current emotion or problem is never going to end, feeling like there is no way out, not being able to sleep or calm down. There are different levels of panic attacks for me... and everyone is different... hope this info helped a bit.
