How to control anxiety when you don't know why you are anxious?
I don't know if anyone here has been anxious but yet didn't know why they were anxious. I felt this today and it was hard for me to control because I didn't understand why. Anyone have this before and has any advice?

I am still searching for this answer and I've had anxiety since 1995. Everyone says to "just breath" but honestly, that makes it worse because I concentrate on breathing and then feel I am not breathing correctly. The people around me always try to talk to me and take my mind off of it which does seem to help.

this happens to me ALL the time....
I feel better when someone re-asures me that I'm ok or safe.
My boyfriend holds me thightly and tells me he wont let any thing harm me...
it works when idk whats wrong.
when I'm all alone I tell my self this over and over,
"I'm ok".... "your Safe...your Safe" ... "relax" ... "no danger"....
Idk sometimes it works sometimes I cant even do it .... you know how it is ...
