    You may want to consider "Feeling Good" by David Burns. It explores a lot of CBT exercises that can be very useful if you choose to use them. There is the book and there is a companion workbook. I believe you can buy them separately or together and, if I recall correctly, it is not essential to read the book before you do the workbook, I think the workbook explained the concepts before the exercises, the book was just more in depth. It has been a long time though since I used it. If you can, try to get the most recent version since it will have the most up to date research backing the ideas.
