    When I am able to leave the house I try to focus on two things:
    1) This is not the end of the world. My thoughts are just turning this into something much bigger than it actually is.
    2) I will be home soon. I will be back to a safe and comfortable place when this day is over.
    It's not a fool proof plan. But it sometimes gets me through a tough day when I have no choice but to be out of the house.

    Whenever I feel myself getting anxious, normally theres a way to tell. Just always ask yourself how your feeling and be honnest with yourself. If you have no real reason to be anxious or if you find yourself knowing somethings wrong but not knowing what it is. That normally helps to know

    Once you have realized your anxious...Then it gets a little more easier to determine how to calm yourself down. Everyone is different and if you live with anxiety then you need to get to know yourself. People with anxiety are normally seen and selfish people, but we need to be selfish once and a while because we loose ourselves. So don't be afraid to give yourself all the time in the world be in solitary.

    To give you an honest answer I don't know. These days I've got little to go out for and am becoming more reclusive in my home and not going out which worries me. But I just do it, push myself out of the door, it actually helps and is much better when you've got somewhere to go as apposed to just "going for a walk" to god knows where. But If I feel anxious I keep telling myself it will be alright, keep walking don't slow down, smile, its real, trying to get into that mindset of thinking clearly and rationally, but it depends on where I'm going how I've being feeling, and sometimes yes I just say go home Steven, you've done enough, don't tire yourself out.

    I really dont have a answer to this question cause im the oppisite way I dont know how to cope with it at home,when im at work it doesnt seem to flair up hardly at all...

    The only tip I've gotten that has helped me is a breathing technique that works for everyone every time. It may not be as sedating as taking a xanax haha but it calms down your central nervous system. It's worth it even for just a few moments of relief. Here's how it works: Inhale slowly as deep as possible, and try to clench every muscle in your body as hard as you can for five seconds. Then release them all at once as you exhale. Hope this helps!

    I ride my bycicle all day and somehow also my thoughts are riding with it...just joking. Sometimes the more busy I am, the less I think about my problems, but the anxiety is there all the time. I live in a small village, everybody knows everybody, I'm new here and that makes it even I hold my breath say hello and then riding the bike with my own thoughts allmost whistling saying to myself next time I will have a more sincere smile next time.
