Has anyone here been diagnosed as bipolar (1 or 2)?

I was diagnosed as bipolar 2, once (though I'm not sure I believe it, as I've had a ton of different diagnosis-es throughout the years, and only one doc ever labelled me with BP2), and my boyfriend has bipolar 1. I'm more curious about BP1, right now as, though he's been doing very well for a long time, it's probably in my best interest to be looking into what to do if/when the BF has bipolar episodes...
