When I'm feeling general anxiety, my breathing gets shallow and fast, the back of my head gets really tense and I get an overall sensation of feeling agitated. Like I can't get comfortable. I also get racing thoughts.
I used to get really bad social anxiety, before i managed to help myself overcome it. I used to get alot of fear, racing thoughts, my heart felt like it was going to explode, and i generally wanted to just melt into the background.
When I have panic attacks, I feel really restless. My mind races. I hyperventilate. and can't stop moving. When I have social anxiety, I fidget a lot, have racing negative thoughts, catastrophize the situation in my head, and look in every direction except the person I'm talking to.
I always become nauseous and my palms get sweaty and I fidget with things to distract myself. I also get racing thoughts that I can't seem to turn off.
Sometimes I can feel the vein in my neck bulging. Or my breathing starts going crazy and ill have an asthma attackk. Other times I get a almost puke type feeling. But most of the time I get an extraordinary amount of energy.
I have racing thoughts, headaches, irritability, heartburn, and lack of energy. I sometimes have brain fog and something I've recently learned to be derealization. This only happens sometimes, though.
My symptoms range from A to Z. My heart races, My palms get sweaty, My body feels generally weird...As if it's not my body. My mind starts to race, I start thinking I'm having a heart attack, or that something is really wrong with me.. Cancer, Thyroid problems, Heart problems... When the adrenaline hits I always jump up if I'm sitting or just randomly bolt towards one direction if I'm standing. I also get shakey- almost like I'm freezing. There are so many symptoms it depends on the type of anxiety I'm having. Which is difficult to deal with considering how many bad diseases and such have the same symptoms as panic attacks.
The IBS keeps me in bed and hurts a lot...this does not happen very often but I have it since a long time and I ve learned to live with it. I also have back pains and a sense of emptyness in my stomach...I don't eat too much, but even if I do, I still feel it. Sometimes I wake up with head pain...a pulsating feeling which is getting worse on loud sounds and the flight of fight sensation when I have to go out...sometimes this symptoms does not appear, but sometimes they do and it is very hard to control it.
Oh & most often I feel like I'm suffocating..
